I went to the Syracuse Arts & Crafts Festival Saturday and met someone from the Urban Arts Rangers, a "community art force that seeks to inform people about art activities taking place in Syracuse, to generate ideas with residents for public art, and to foster creative participation in the City" according to its Web site. The group had people contribute an illustration, poem, etc. to a zine they made for each day of the Festival and then printed and distributed the next day (except for Sunday, which they distributed online). Pretty cool idea.
I gave them a few copies of Candy or Medicine, which were mentioned in the zine. Go to their Web site to download a PDF of the zine.
