I will be attending a lecture tomorrow night by Marjane Satrapi of Persepolis fame. Should be good stuff. For some reason, the cool poster they have for this event does not exist online. I actually saw one Friday morning. They don't seem to be doing a good job of promoting this event, but oh well. I should have some pictures up here sometime this week. It's part of the Rosamond Gifford Lecture Series, hosted by the Onondaga County Public Library, so it's pretty fancy schmancy. Which means tickets cost $25. Should be worth it though. There aren't many people I'd pay $25 to hear speak for an hour and a half. Marjane Satrapi is, however, one of those people.
