News and Notes, July Edition

Not a whole lot going on this month.

Here are two reviews of Noah Van Sciver's The Death of Elijah Lovejoy. Also, his much-anticipated debut graphic novel, They Hypo, will be published by Fantagraphics.

• Kyle Nolan released Brain Dead Phylum #2. I read it last night and it's pretty cool.
• Dan Folgar has posted some new comics.
• Alex Chiu is always up to some cool stuff.

Like I said, not much going on this month. However, Candy or Medicine Volume Fourteen will be out next month, so stay tuned for that. And in September, I'll be setting up at the Cincinnati Comic Expo.
